Thanksgiving 2009
Today I have many things to be thankful for. I am thankful for my beautiful family and the love and comfort they give me. I am thankful for my friends for the support and laughter I receive from them. I am thankful to live in the United States of America and the freedom we have because of the brave men and women that protect us. I am thankful to God for keeping my family and friends safe and helping me to believe and live faithfully daily. I am truly a lucky individual to be surround by love. I wish you all a day filled with family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving.

Fun at Irvine Park
While off track this month we went to ride bikes at Irvine Park in Orange and it was a blast! My good friend, Sandi, and her two girls loaded our bikes up in the back of Kunane's truck and set out for a fun day at the park. We took our lunches and rode bikes around until the girls got tired. Then we had a picnic lunch and the kids played on the playground, while we sat and watched the wild peacocks.
We took all kinds of pictures of the kids climbing the trees. In this picture Kulia is leaning on Hailee, Kalena is next to Kulia and then Kilee. They loved posing for the pictures. After lunch we loaded our bikes back in the truck and went to the zoo at the park. The kids loved seeing the animals and like petting the goats in the petting zoo portion. We had a fabulous day with the Long girls. Thanks for a great day girls. We definitely need to do it again!

Wednesday, November 11th
Since today was Veteran's Day, the girl scout troop had a holiday cookie exchange day. Kalena and I baked 6 dozen Snickerdoodles to share with her troop. Her exchange started at 10 am and when we arrived they asked if I could stay and help. Of course I couldn't say no, until I had my sweet girl, Kulia, in tears. I had promised her a mommy and Kulia date while Kalena was at girl scouts and she thought we weren't going to get to go. I felt horrible and could see the sadness in her eyes, so I explained to the leader I wasn't able to stay and help because I had a date with Kulia. Kulia was so excited to be with me. She chose lunch at Carl's Jr. and a treat from the Dollar Store....did I make out or what? This was the cheapest day ever. After lunch and shopping we came home and played the Dora Matching Game, one of her favorites. It was so nice to see how much fun she was having. We picked Kalena up at 2 and she completely understood why I didn't stick around to help. I have such wonderful girls and am so blessed they have compassion towards each other. Everyone had a great day and I was so happy to have some quality time with my little lady!
Wednesday, November 4th
Today, was our 8 week check up with Dr. Mohrdar, Kulia's natural doctor (ND), and it went great again. I was never a believer in the homeopathic or natural forms of medicines until I took Kulia to see Dr. Mohrdar. Our first visit was on March 4th, the day after her 4th Birthday and since then Kulia has not been sick (knock on wood). This past month, she was exposed to the swine flu and another strand of the flu and never got it. I am amazed because in the past if someone had a cold, she would get it and it would go straight to her chest. She would then have to get steroid shots and have breathing treatments three times a day. As I said, she hasn't been sick since we have seen him and I feel like he is a miracle worker. Not only has she not been sick, but her hair has grown, she has grown an inch and a half, and her skin is finally the color is should be, instead of pale and sickly looking.
I asked Dr. Morhdar how this could be possible and he told me the supplement (Transfer Factor C) allows her body to fight off infections before it incubate and become worse. Apparently, this supplement assist her immune system in keeping her white blood cells within a healthy range. When she is exposed or has a small bug, her body actually fights it rather than lets it incubate and it never has the opportunity to turn into an infection. He actually recommended I have Kalena take it throughout the flu and cold season so she doesn't get a bug either. The girls don't mind taking it which is great too!
As I left his office, I called my mom and told her that if I wasn't working full time I would definitely become a lobbyist in Washington for natural medicine. I know it sounds a little extreme, but I have seen first hand how it has changed Kulia's life. She is so much healthier and happier and doing so much better than she was on pharmaceutical drugs. I have spent less money out of pocket on the supplements and doctor visits than I did when she was seeing her specialist. In addition, the insurance company would have spent less for the ND rather than an MD. I do know though our health care is driven by the pharmaceutical companies and natural medicine will never be accepted because it would put to many of them out of business. I also know that it has worked for Kulia and we are going to continue to see Dr. Mohrdar N.D. until he proves that his treatment is not effective. He truly has been our family miracle and would recommend him to anyone!

Day 2 at Disneyland
Today (November 2), we visited Disneyland again with my good friend, Terri. We are so close the girls refer to her as Auntie Terri. She also spoils them like they are her nieces, so they love it. Every time we are off track we try to take a trip to Disneyland together at least once. It was another great day at the "Happiest Place on Earth". The girls saw many characters they didn't see the Wednesday before so they were ecstatic. Well I should say, Kulia was ecstatic. Kalena still isn't too fond of the characters, so she could go without seeing them. She was a definite trooper though and let her Auntie Terri take pictures of her and her sister with each one of them. (Terri is a photographer on the side and does beautiful work, so when she is around I don't even get my camera out...am I lucky or what?) We stayed for about 4 hours and had a fabulous time.
Thank you Terri for going with us and treating the girls so well. They absolutely love you and so do I! Thanks for all you do sis! ♥
A Day at Disneyland with Friends from Corona Ranch
Today (October 28th), we met some of the families from Corona Ranch at Disneyland and had an amazing day. I was a little nervous since there were 20 of us, but all of the kids got along wonderfully and agreed on everything we did. I think all of the other parents gave their children the same talk before we left about going with the flow and doing what others want to do. We met at 10:30am at Mc Donalds on Ball road to feed everyone before we went to the park. We all decided to go to California Adventure first since it wasn't as crowded as Disneyland. One of the dads (Marty) that went with us, took all of our passes and got us all a Fastpass for Soaring Over California. We went on so many rides between the time we went in and Soaring Over California, the kids loved it. We then went to Disneyland and went on more rides and had dinner at the pizza place. We had such a great time!! We didn't leave the park until after 8pm, which is rare for us since we go so frequently. We really enjoyed the company and are so happy to have met such wonderful families at Corona Ranch. I am lucky to work there and have Kalena attend school there.
Halloween
We had a great Halloween! The morning before, Friday, we stayed in our jammies and carved pumpkins. On Halloween, we spent the morning making caramel apples, one of our annual traditions. We relaxed the rest of the day and the girls couldn't wait to got trick or treating. Our dear friends, Al and Terri, came over to spend the evening. Al sat in the driveway with Kunane and Paul (our neighbor) passing out candy, while Terri, Claire, Liana, and I took the girls trick-or-treating. The girls were so excited with all of the candy they received and all the other costumes they saw. It was a great night!

Busy, But Fun Weekend!!
On Thursday evening, I was thinking about my busy weekend and was wondering if I was going to make it with all of the mommy activities I had committed to, but I made it and it was wonderful!
On Friday, we had our annual read-a-thon at school and right after school we had Girl Scout and a Centennial football game. We didn't get home until late, but we didn't let that ruin the next day.
On Saturday, we had soccer at 8 o'clock in the morning and then the school carnival. I worked for about 3 hours while Kalena visited booths and hung out with some friends. Kulia and I worked on top of the large, inflatable slide, and let the kids know when it was okay to go down which is what we were doing in the picture. It was about 105 degrees and after 3 hours I was exhausted, but that didn't stop us. We rushed home to take showers and get ready for Mom's house for Ron's Birthday dinner. Chad and his new girlfriend, Shelly, made us all dinner and it was delicious. Mom kept Kulia for the night and Kalena went home with my sister. Kunane and I headed home for an evening alone. The funny thing is, we stopped by TGI Fridays for a drink, wanting to enjoy adult time, but we were both so tired right after we order we said we were too tired to stay and headed home. So much for some adult time with each other!
On Sunday morning, I got up at 7:00 and headed for the Race for the Cure. Every year, Mom, Kelley, the girls and I walk together to celebrate my mom's 18 years of survival. This year my dear friend, Vicki, joined us and it was a blast. After the race we headed for Coco's for lunch. It was great to celebrate with both Mom and Vicki and spend some girl time together. I am so thankful they are both still part of my life. Before we even got to the freeway both girls, Kulia and Kalena, were fast asleep in the car. I was tired for the busy weekend, so I know they were wiped out. I look back on these weekend and feel so thankful for the many people we spend time with and the activities we are able to do as a family. I am truly blessed!!

Fun Weekend!
Here are some pictures of my superstar, Kalena, playing soccer. She is really having fun again this season. She has been playing goalie the last few games and seem to really enjoy it. She is not afraid to go after a ball and get it back out into play quickly. Kulia is enjoying being the "assistant, assistant, coach". She loves to practice with the girls and kick the ball around. When it is her turn to play, next year, she is going to do fantastic!
We had a great weekend this weekend! We spent Friday at Kunane's football game against Mater Dei, which unfortunately ended up in a loss for the Huskies...1st time in 2 years and it was hard to swallow. Then Saturday Kalena had a soccer game and played really well. Blind Fury won (even though we aren't suppose to keep score but we do). We went to dinner at a friends house and the kids had a blast swimming and dancing. Then we spent half of the day today at Disneyland with Mom. It truly is the "happiest place on earth". We have annual passes, so it was great to go for a few hours and then head home. I really love watching the girls see the characters and have fun on the rides. I love the weekends with the family, but only wish they were longer!

Hello Again!!!
Well, it has been quite a while since I have posted and I am sorry! I really have no valid excuse, beside just being busy with the girls! In July, we took a 17 day trip to Hawaii and it was the best trip we have ever had there!! All 5 of us went, yes Liana made it too and it was great! We spent most of the time with Kunane's parents at their house, but did get away to the North Shore for a night, the Big Island for a couple of nights and Waikiki for a night. We really enjoyed spending time at the beach and the girls absolutely loved it. They are at the perfect age to travel! They kept each other entertained on the plane and got along beautifully the entire trip! Kulia finally sees the culture and loved to dance Hula and talk in the words she knows. Kalena is also very proud to be Hawaiian and fit right in. While there, Kunane's brother, Keoka, had major surgery for thyroid cancer. He was in ICU for several days and is doing better now, but it was really touch and go. I am really happy that we could be there to support his wife Tricia and be with the rest of the family. Please say a prayer for him as he is still fighting it.
We returned and the next day Kalena and I had to return to work. It was very difficult to go back after spending every waking minute the Kunane and the girls, but I must work to pay for our trips like these. I have been back a month and still struggling to go everyday. I am counting down for my next break in November.
Kalena is playing soccer again and is doing well. I am coaching and having a great time. Kulia practices with us every week and is going to be a great player when it is her turn. Kunane goes back to teaching tomorrow. I didn't say work because football has already begun. He is still enjoying it and we love supporting him.
We hope all is well with everyone and we love and miss you! I will try and be better at keeping you updated. Until next time....

Saturday Night at the Drive-in
It has been a few months since Kunane and I have taken the girls to the drive-in movies, so we decided to pack up the van and hit the road. The movie, Up, was scheduled to start at 8:30, but it opened at 7:00 and we wanted to be sure to get a good spot, so we go there about 7:15. We thought about taking the truck, although we were afraid it would get to chilly, so we took the back seat out of the van and put down padding and plenty of blankets and were nice and cozy. We made rice balls and stopped at Kentucky Fried Chicken and had a nice little picnic in the van before the movie started. We had a great time cuddling in the back, eating junk food, and laughing at Up. It is a very cute movie. We tried to stay and watch the 2nd movie, Earth, that started at 10:30, but we only made it about 20 minutes and decided to pack up and head home. We all were a little tired! I remember going to the drive in movies with my parents and I have such great memories. My hope is that I am creating some fun family memories with my girls. It was a blast! Everyone should go at some point!

I'm Back!
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything. This first month back to work has been a little hectic with open house, preparing for testing, and all my GATE responsibilities. Everything is going well. We are all just really busy.
Kalena continues to participate in Girl Scouts and soccer. We tried a new club soccer team for a short time, although she wasn't having the fun she did with AYSO. Club soccer is a huge financial and time commitment, so we decided to register for AYSO again in the fall. She begged me to be her coach again and of course I couldn't say no. Kalena is doing really well in school and has made huge growth since moving to Corona Ranch with me. It has been great to see her every day and to be able to spend some Kalena and Mommy time on the way to and from school. She is such a good girl! I feel so blessed!
Kulia tried ballet this past month and the key word here is tried. She talked about it for months. She was very excited and couldn't wait to start. The day we tried the class was a totally different story. She was excited to walk go in, but once she realized that they were closing the door and I had to stay outside, it was all over. She cried and cried. It was horrible! We stayed and watched the rest of the class and she attempted to go in again without me, but that only lasted a minute. Well, I wasn't about to give up so easy, so I took her back to a 3 and 4 year old tap class and again she cried and cried. I guess we will have to wait until she matures a little. She is so different than Kalena was at this age. I don't know if it is because she has been through so much (being sick) or I have really babied her. It is probably a combination of both. O'well we will get there! Physically she is doing much better. We went to see Dr. Mohrdar for a recheck and she grew 1 in. in 2 months. The previous 5 months she only grew 1/4 of an inch. Her coloring has improved, also. She now has pink cheeks and no circles around her eyes. She eats meat and has been really good about taking her supplements. Also, she is no longer on any pharmaceutical drugs. She had been on them since she was 1. It is so nice not to have to do breathing treatments anymore! Yeah!!! Of course, she is taking supplements, but they are all natural with no side effects. I love it!
Kunane is busy coaching golf and continues to coach football. They can now practice year around (lucky us), so he is gone on Thursday nights for practice. He still enjoys it and that is what counts.
We have taken a camping trip once a month with different groups of friends and have been having a blast! We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends with great families that we can spend time with. We are going to Vail Lake for Mother's Day and are really looking forward to it.
We hope all is well with you! Hopefully, it won't take as long send another update!

Weekend in Glamis
Kunane took Thursday and Friday off this past week and we took off for an extended weekend in Glamis! We went with 14 other families and had a blast. We road our quads and relaxed. The girls had a blast playing with their friends and we had a blast laughing with ours. In the first picture Kulia is getting ready to go on a ride in the Sandrail with her Daddy and our friend Bobby. She was so excited! In the second picture Kalena is riding her quad with her friends. She is getting really good...going off jumps and all! We really enjoy camping together. We create such great memories and I will cherish them forever!!
St. Patrick's Day
Every year on March 16th the girls put out their St. Patrick's box for the leprechauns and get up early to see where it was hidden. Like every year, they follow the streamers around the house and try to see where the leprechauns hid the box. They have so much fun tearing down the streamer and going through the box. Everything in the box is green. This year they got green sports bottles, green nail polish, green Pringles, green candy, green notepads, and many other things. Then we sat down for breakfast to have green pancakes and green eggs. They love celebrating. For dinner we have corned beef and cabbage and Dad and I celebrate with a beer. It is a real fun way to celebrate! I have a little Irish in me, so we have to carry on a tradition! Ha, ha!
Girls Weekend
My mom treated my sister and I to a weekend at a spa in Utah. It was my sister's 40th Birthday and I was lucky enough to go. It was the most relaxing thing I think I have ever done! We drove for 6 hours and of course laughed and cried at each others stories all the way there. Then we drove into this beautiful 5 star spa and were treated so well. We would get up every morning and have a healthy breakfast and then head out for a five mile hike. The first day we hiked on sandstone and the next day to hiked on more bolder type rocks with sand stone and river rocks. The scenery was beautiful. We would return to the spa just in time for a delicious lunch and then to the pool to relax. They offered classes every couple of hours, but I chose to read by the pool or take a nap. My mom took tennis and my sister went to play with wild mustangs and I enjoyed the quiet time. Every day we would have a massage or a facial. When I checked in for my massages they would take me to a beautiful meditation room to relax. Then I would shower with all these special soaps and exploiters, put on their robe and slippers and be escorted to my massage room. It was so beautiful and relaxing. Every day was a different color at the spa and the flower arrangements were changed to match the color and the glassware, plates and just about everything was transformed into that color. It was gorgeous. After a massage I took a yoga class and then headed to our suite to watch movies with mom and Kelley. I had a great time enjoying my sister and my mom. I am really thankful that I had the opportunity to go to Utah and spend the weekend at the spa with them. I was a little worried about Kunane and the girls, although he did a great job. I talked to them daily and could hear in their voices how much fun they were having with Daddy! He let them pick where to eat out and he let them sleep in our bed. They thought that was the best! I sure hope that others get the opportunity to go away and take some mommy time as I did. Thank you mom for a great weekend! I love you!

Update on Kulia
Last Wednesday, Kulia, my mom, and I went to see Dr. Mohrdar, an alternative medicine doctor to find out if there was anything we could do to help with all of Kulia's illnesses. As many of you know, I have been extremely frustrated and stressed about the amount of drugs, steroids, and other antibiotics that she has been taking the last 4 years and I really wanted some answers. Dr. Mohrdar actually gave some very logical reasons as to why Kuila has been such a sick child. He believes, as I do, that she has long term effects from when she was born and not breathing. I have always believed that her birth had something to do with her respiratory problems, although I have been told by several doctors that is was just a coincidence. Dr. Mohrdar explained that when a baby is born, they have mucus and this mucus contains enzymes with antibodies that help build their immune system. He believes because Kulia was suctioned so much that the good bacteria, antibodies, were taken from her, therefore she did not have a foundation to build her immune system. Also he said that having tube in her nose and throat caused inflammation and this inflammation could possibly have never gone down because her immune system could not react. I also asked about her lack of hair growth. He said the drugs "absolutely" have something to do with her hair growth. He believes that her body can not metabolize the nutrition from food because of her weakened immune system. This totally makes sense to me because not only does her hair hardly grow, but I never have to cut her nails either. I have heard in the past, when you are healthy you can tell by the strength and growth of your nails. In addition, he explained other side effects of steroids and antibiotics and how it continues to weaken her system instead of build it up. This is why every other child gets a cold and heals and why her colds turn in to respiratory problems. He says, by the time her body realizes that it needs to fight it is to late and she has a major infection. Dr. Mohrdar spend about an hour and 45 minutes talking with me and observing Kulia. It was awesome. I really like him and feel like what he was saying was logical. All the other doctors she has seen, usually say they don't know why it keeps happening or it is because of being around sick people and I never feel like I get answers to the real problem. Dr. Mohrdar said that she doesn't have enough of the good bacteria in her system to build her immune system and fight infection. Therefore, he put her on two remedies. Both of them are all natural and have no side effects. In addition to starting her on these remedies he sent her to the lab to have blood work done. He is checking her kidneys, liver, thyroid, and many other things. They took a great deal of blood. He also said that he doesn't believe that she has allergies. He thinks that her body can not fight anything. After he gets the blood work back we will see him again and see what our options are. I am looking forward to finding out more answers and hope for the best. I am going to continue to go to him in hopes that we will get positive results. My only other options is to continue to see her other doctors and continue to have her on drugs that are not healthy for her. Please keep us in your prayers and pray that we are going down the right path and will have answers. Thank you for all of your love and support. I will keep you posted on anything new he tells us.

Kulia Turns 4!!
Tuesday was a great day! I felt like it was my birthday! Kulia came down stair to a new bike. She was so excited to ride it. She rode it around the house all morning. Then we had Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast...my specialty. Then we got ready and headed to Disneyland...Kulia's favorite place! Right when we got in we saw all the characters that she loves, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip. We spent about a half hour visiting with them and getting their autographs. She was in heaven. Next, we headed for the rides. It was her day and she got to chose every ride we went on. Kalena was a great trooper in going on the "little kid" rides. She wore a Happy Birthday button and everywhere we went people said Happy Birthday. They made her feel very special. She also received a $60 gift card to shop in the stores and chose the cutest Minnie Mouse suitecase and ears. She looked adorable. We spent about 5 hours at Disneyland and then headed for home. Then we went out for pizza, her choice. After pizza, we headed to Froster Freeze for some ice cream. She isn't much in to sweets, but loves soft serve vanilla ice cream. We all sang Happy Birthday to her before we took our licks. She loved it! It was a very good day for all of us! I absolutely love being home to spend the entire day with her for her birthday.

1st day off Track!
What a great day it was!! Kalena, Kulia, and I stayed in our PJ's until noon! We played games in the morning, we baked, we went for a walk (after changing out of our PJ's), went to school to deliver cookies, and cuddled on the couch! I wish everyday was this simple! I am so thankful I have a job that allows me to be home with them for a month, every three months. It was an amazing day!

Mommy Day!
Today I was able to be a mommy, instead of a teacher and it was absolutely wonderful! Kalena's class went the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on a field trip and I went along as a chaperone! I had such a great time watching her explore the exhibits. She loves animals and had fun with her friends and mommy too!

Weekend at Vail Lake
What a fantastic weekend we had camping at Vail Lake! One of my friends at school put the trip together with 7 other families and what a GREAT trip it was. We were a little worried because the weather reports said it as suppose to rain all weekend, but we really lucked out. It only rained on Friday evening as we arrived and then stopped about 9:00 and was beautiful all day Saturday and Sunday. We were scheduled to leave on Sunday afternoon, but we were having such a great time that we stayed another night and are we glad we did. It rained again Monday morning on our way out. What a blast!
On Saturday a few more friends came out for the day to relax and celebrate a friends birthday. It was fun, but everyone looked so cute. They didn't look like they were camping and of course, I did...with my beanie and all. Ü
We absolutely love camping and spending time with each other. Our friends took their Rhinos and we had fun driving the kids around the campground and doing a little off-roading. We had an entire cuv de sac to ourselves. The kids road bikes, played tether ball, and even had a jumper to keep busy. Oh, I almost forgot they even miniature golfed. The campgrounds offers many fun family things to day. If you haven't been there, you should check it out!

Good Times
Well, with much love, nuturing and a lot of drugs, Kulia is doing much better. She still has her cough, but the infection is gone and she is sleeping much better, which means we are all sleeping much better. I am thankful we got through this with out a trip to the hospital or shots. We are considering taking her to an alternative medicine (herbal) doctor the first week of March, so he can help us find the root of the problem with her. I am really stuggling with the amount of medicine we have to give her this time of year and for the past four years of her life. I feel like we are just fixing the symptoms and don't really know why this keeps occuring. I am looking for answers and hope that this new doctor, that a friend recommended, can help. Please pray that we are looking in the right direction and can find some answers.
We had a very relaxing weekend, watching movies and playing games since it rained most of the weekend. I really enjoy spending the cuddle time with the girls since I know it isn't going to last forever. They are my everything and I cherish every moment we can be together.
I met some friends for dinner tonight and realize how lucky I am to have such supportive and loving friends. Thanks girls for a nice dinner out and especially your friendship! My dear friend, Vicki, has been through a great deal in the past year and I admire her strength. She is always so strong and level headed. She is an amazing person and friend and I thank her for that friendship and listening to my worries even though she has her own. I love you Vicki and thank you for being you!!

Rough Days
Well it has been a rough few days with our precious Kulia! Last Friday morning she came down with a fever and a slight cough. Thank goodness my mom had planned on watching the girls that day, so she got rest and tender care from her loving Grandma. Her cough and the fever seemed to be getting better, so we tried to venture out to our Friends Superbowl party, which only lasted a very short time for Kulia and I. We left Kalena and Kunane to have fun and Kulia and I came home to rest and relax. Well, resting did NOT happen. Instead Kulia had a major respiratory episode, meaning having a difficult time breathing due to a major coughing attack to the point that she was throwing up uncontrollably. She finally settled down with a warm shower and a few breathing treatments. Then we tried to get to bed for some much needed rest. That didn't happen either. Throughout the looooong night, she had 3 more expisodes of throwing up and not being able to breathe. We took 3 showers and wrapped her in blankets and sat outside in hopes the cool air would help. It didn't seem to work. At 4:00, while Kunane and I were debting visting the ER she fell asleep in my arms...completely exhausted!! Needless to say, I stayed home with her and got the first available doctor's appointment with her specialist. He is amazing! He said she had a respiratory infection and put her on antibiotics, along with 6 other perscriptions including nasal spray, breathing treatments and cough medicine. My poor baby! All those drugs in her little body make me worry!
Please pray that she will grow out of this. It is a common cold for every other child, but for her she automatically has respiratory problems. It is really tough because I know all the drugs can not be healthy for her little body and who knows the long term side effects. I really don't have a choice in giving them to her. The Dr. says otherwise she will end up in the hospital again with twice as many drugs and we have been there too many times in the past!
Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated!

Fantastic Day!
Today was a great day! I got up early and had breakfast with some good friends for Becky's Birthday. We had a great time visiting and enjoying a meal without a little hand asking if they could try it. I really enjoyed every minute of it.
Then we went to some friends, Danny and Heather's house, to enjoy the Superbowl game. They put on the best Superbowl party ever! Their yard was lined like a football field with down markers and he even had a flashback 80's band. Of course, we all enjoyed the music before the game. The food and company were also great!
Danny coaches football at Centennial with Kunane and we are so thankful for him and the many friends we made through the years of coaching. I hope you all enjoyed your day with family and friends as we did! Enjoy the pictures!

The Beginning!!
Well, my good friend Annie showed me her blog and I absolutely love it. Since I am now visiting so many blogs for coupons and advice I thought I would start my own family blog. This way I could keep in touch with the friends and family that I don't get to see everyday. I have really enjoyed getting a start on putting it together and will continue to work on it and update it. I realize how important personal relationships are and hope that this blog will help keep us all connected even though some of us are far away. I love you and am thankful for your friendship!
